Guest Post: June Go-to's!

Here are my June Go-to's!

Bite Lipstick in Pomegranate: this lipstick hands down beats everything I have ever owned. I picked up a sample at Sephora and will be going back very soon to purchase a full size bottle. This color is a super bright red, very pigmented and goes on really smooth and creamy. As for the lipstick formula itself, I have really dry, really chapped lips and this doesn't crack on the lips and doesn't flake off like a lot of other lipsticks. It wears really well and sticks on for a long period of time.

Lip Tar in Pretty Boy: Again, another super bright, crazy bright lipstick in hot pink and I have only put this on once but I expect to try it on again. First impressions: it stays on really well, it's a thick lipstick and stayed on really well the first time.

Organix Moroccan Argan Oil: This kind is for the dry and coarse hair. I recently just bleached my hair from darkest you can go black to a light brown for the summer. And of course, as everyone knows, bleach kills hair. My hair was like straw when I left the salon. Carolyn recommended this to me and I put it on the first day and my hair was so soft! I used it the next day too without washing my hair and it doesn't build up or make my hair greasy when I skip a day of washing my hair.

Miss Jessie's Stretch Silkening Cream: Excellent for curly hair, especially excellent for curly hair that's been recently bleached. Makes my hair soft and manageable and since Central New York has been like a rainforest with lots of humidity, my hair is out of control. This tones it down A LOT.

On a quick side note, I paint my nails a lot. I get bored of the same color after a couple of days but right now I'm wearing Wet N' Wild in On a Trip: beautiful lavender color and the top coat I'm using is Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. If you're looking for a fantastic top coat, this is it! Shiny, dries really fast and lasts for days and days and days!

Also Wet N' Wild: Megalast Liquid Lip Color in Red My Mind and Back to the Fuschia. Obviously, the first is a red color and the second is a bright pink. I seem to be on a bright pink and bright red pigments lately with lipsticks. These are really bright colors but they are really dry. Retail price is about $3.99, so I guess you get what you pay for but if you put some Blistex or Chapstick over it, it's perfectly fine! Compromise. :)

We shall see what June will bring me.

Until next time,
Tay.
